Calicinto Ranch ministers to the children of incarcerated parents, the "forgotten victims of crime." Calicinto desires to make a difference through a positive summer camping experience as well as through family events throughout the year. Partnering with the California Highway Patrol and CHIPS for Kids, they provide 1500 Christmas gifts to boys and girls who have a parent in prison.
BFC actively supports Calicinto Ranch with gifts of food as well as physical help with the serving and catering aspects of the activities. There is also a secondhand store, Rebuild Thrift Store and Boutique Center, in San Jacinto, that has opportunities for volunteers who wants to be of help to this ministry.
If you are a regular at BFC, you can contact Scott or Debbie Petter for further information about this ministry. You can also read all about Calicinto Ranch on their website.
